Spring 2: Journeys

Class: Foundation Stage 2 Year: 2023 - 2024

We throughly enjoyed 'World Book Day' and our visit to the library last half term. We hope you have continued to visit the library as a family and developing a love of reading in your home. The class enjoyed listening and retelling different stories about journeys in role play. They discussed journeys they have been on with their family and learning about real life journeys that happened in the past linking to one of our key text 'Lost and Found' this half term. The children designed and created a boat using various materials. The tested their boats in the water tray and evaluated if they had sucessfully created a boat that could carry passangers and float in the water.
