Non Term Time:
Call Rotherham Safeguarding Board (MASH) on 01709 336090 to report your concern
OR
Call the police on 101
For urgent or serious concerns call the police immediately on 999

Wales Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects everyone involved with our school to share this commitment. We strive to ensure that consistent and effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support families, children and staff at school.
Wales Primary School has policies and procedures in place to deal effectively with child protection and safeguarding issues together with recording and monitoring processes. The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Mrs Ruth Sampson (Headteacher) and the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead is Mrs Anna McDonald (Deputy Headteacher). In addition, Mrs Charlotte Lax is part of the Safeguarding Team, while our safeguarding governor is Mr Paul Fletcher.
If you have any serious concerns about your child or any other student at Wales Primary School, please do not hesitate to contact the Designated Safeguarding Lead or member of the safeguarding team, who will be able to provide you with the best advice and help using the appropriate degree of confidentiality.
