Explorer Day - Year 5

Class: Year 5 Year: 2026 - 2027

Year 5 had an amazing day learning about the adventures of Robert Falcoln Scott and Roald Amundsen, testing materials to use as a thermal insulator and creating a piece of pastel art work based on the Northern Lights.  We even trained as explorers: practising getting into sleeping bags in our coats, hats and scarves, pushing sleds and even had sleeping bag and penguin races.  To end the day we tried some snacks explorers eat to boost their energy levels.
