Autumn Term FS2 class

Class: Foundation Stage 2 Year: 2023 - 2024

The children have has a fantastic start to their journey at Wales Primary School during this first half term. The children have shared photos from their 'All about me book' and have learnt all about their peers families. We have looked through mirrors and created some fantastic self portraits using pencil and collage materials. We have learnt that we are all unique. We have learnt all about the different seasons and that the season is now Autumn. We now know all about the life cycle of a seed and explored the seeds in apples, sunflowers and pumpkins. We harvest the seeds ready to plant next year and planted bulbs ready for the spring. We have worked really hard to practise our pencil control and sisscors skills when creating various collages and painting whilst closely looking at the apples, sunflowers and pumpkins.
